On Tuesday, April 19, 2011 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the 2011 U.S. Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report, which identifies the country’s sources of carbon emissions. The findings illustrate a 6.1% decrease in overall carbon emissions from the previous year. Additionally, the report states that in 2009, manufacturers generated just 4% of total U.S. emissions.
